Am I available for walk-in tattoos?

  • Generally I am not available for same-day appointments that involve larger tattoos. I can occasionally accommodate for same-day small tattoos, but my availability to do so is limited.

Where am I located?

  • I am currently tattooing at Code of Conduct Tattoo, 14 E 11th St, Chicago, IL 60605

How long will it take?

  • It depends on the size, the complexity of the design, and where it will be located on the body.

  • Larger tattoos generally take more than one session.

  • Color tattoos and Black/Grey tattoos are applied differently, therefore one may take longer than the other depending on the design.

How much do you charge?

  • My current hourly rate is $200/hr. An average all-day session takes 5-6 hrs.

  • Every tattoo will require a deposit of $100 to set an appointment. A tattoo deposit is non-refundable and will be applied to the total cost of your tattoo. This deposit is used as a placeholder for my drawing time as well. The deposit will become forfeit in the event you do not show, or cancel your tattoo. If you would like to get a new appointment after cancelling, I will require a new deposit.

  • Smaller tattoos and any tattoo that takes an hour or less will be charged 150$. If the tattoo takes longer than the hour, my regular rate will be applied.

How long does it take to heal?

  • A tattoo normally takes about 2-3 weeks to heal.

  • A tattoo can appear shiny for about a month or so while it settles, this is completely normal!

What should I avoid while my tattoo heals?


  • Avoid swimming for the first two weeks!

  • Try not to let direct sunlight hit your tattoo! The sun is one of the biggest culprits of faded tattoos, keep it covered in the sunlight and use sunblock whenever healed if you would like to maintain the vibrancy of your tattoo for a long time.

  • Try to avoid products from getting into it such as hair shampoo, perfumes/colognes, and pretty much anything unnatural you may encounter!

  • DO NOT LET YOUR PETS LICK A FRESH TATTOO!

  • Avoid Petroleum products such as Vaseline, Aquaphor, or A+D. Use an unscented lotion like the blue/white Lubriderm instead!

Is there anything you won’t tattoo?

  • I do not tattoo anything political/propaganda/racist/offensive.

  • I will not tattoo your face, I don’t care if you’re poppin’ off on SoundCloud.

  • I don’t really design custom script and I try to avoid Script-heavy tattoos.

  • I will not tattoo you if you are intoxicated.

I have sent in a Tattoo Submission, but I haven’t received a reply back?

  • I will try to get back to everyone as fast as I can, however things can get hectic sometimes and I’m the only one steering my ship.
